Well, it doesn't look like he's a big baby....

Look at the size of this monster! Glad my midwife appointment went 'well'.

Had my 2 week size check to make sure hes not grossly enormous, turns out he 'hasn't grown' since 28 weeks. Midwife said she wasn't too worried about this, but I'm booked in for another 2 week size check to make sure he is still growing! It probably has just settled down so aslong as I am measuring 32 weeks next week all fine, otherwise I'll have another scan to check properly.

Also got a slapped wrist for getting up wrong! Apparently I am supposed to take atleast 10-15 minutes to get up from lying flat....

30 down, 10 to go!

30 weeks today! That means theres only 70 days left! Feels a bit like the countdown to christmas, 'Yeah yeah, 70 days, whatever.' But it's already been 30 weeks and they have gone so quick. Starting to get things ready for the hospital, important things like the hospital bag, baby's stuff, money for bets etc...

I thought this was funny....!

I was at the sandwich shop earlier today and the lady who regularly serves me was there. She took my order and went away making it. She started asking the usual questions, 'Do you want butter?' etc... (ofcourse I want butter!?) I had turned away to look somewhere else and all of a sudden shes said 'What are you expecting?'. I just looked at her, a bit surprised and plain faced. 'Um, a sandwich? Why? What am I getting?'

Turns out she meant baby...

Is it just me that thinks nothings changed? Still a bit tubby. Have to add though...PATRICK IF U CALL ME FATTY ONE MORE TIME I WILL FEED YOUR HEAD TO PIRAHNAS.

Baby Elephant?... or just water?

I had a 28 week Midwife appointment today. Baby is measuring 30 weeks rather than 28, its not unusual to measure slightly bigger for your dates but I'll be back in 2 weeks rather than 4 weeks to check his size again. Hopefuly its just a growth spurt!

Also, my midwife kept asking wether daddy was talking to the baby much. (Does lying on him so he kicks him in the head count?!) She said its very important as baby will get used to the sound of his voice as he can hear now. (And he didnt like her calling him a 'tiddler' very much, she got a boot for that!) So here we are at 28 weeks, third trimester!

I was using my beer belly to rest my elbows on to get a straighter line with my eye liner (as you do!) and right at that moment, he decided to have a little dance. My hands were going everywhere! A really strong kick! I almost had an eye out! lol

Third and final Trimester!

Finally we are in the last bit... not too sure how to feel about that to be honest! It seems to have gone so quick and 12 weeks to go still sounds like a long time. (But then you remember it has already been 28!) I'm already having trouble reching my socks and rolling over! I need a small crane and a very skilled driver..

Was stopped properly for the first time today. A lady said, 'nice tum'. Very brave as I dont think I look that pregnant yet! We had a bit of a natter about due dates and to be honest, (even though the bit about actually having to push doesnt sound too appealing) I cant wait for him to arrive.

So this is the scary looking image of what little one looks like at the moment... Riiiiight... Well thats me planning on going away around the 4th August, someone wake me up when its all over!

Ok, starting to look like I am actually trying to steal a football, I guess you could guess I was pregnant rather than just tubby... Had an old lady corner me the other day and started SINGING to my bump.. Made for a very embarrassing/ awkward moment. No, I didnt know who she was.... !
